Subject: Scholarships for the International Biomass Training Seminar in Austria
Dear friends
I am pleased to inform you that that we managed to find the funds for a limited number of "scholarships" covering the participation fee (not the travel and accommodation costs) for our "International Training Seminar on Biomass Heating" to be held from September 9-12, 2013 in Linz/Austria.
The "scholarships" were created to help overcome a part of the budgetary constraints which persons working in the public sector and related agencies face for international travel. Applications are invited from persons involved in biomass heat market development on state/provincial level.
The scholarships will cover the costs for the course fee (for public administrations & energy agencies 580 Euro incl. 10 % VAT, for others 880 Euro). This fee includes the training sessions, seminar documentation, site-visits, coffee breaks/meals). The participants will have to cover their own hotel and travel costs as well as any other incidental costs.
Persons interested in applying should an eMail to office@esv.or.atand briefly explain their role in biomass heat market development in their state/province. Any other information (e.g. an existing ppt or publication on market development activities) is very welcome.
I would very much appreciate your support in making this opportunity known to persons that could be interested in participating and in applying for the scholarship!

We would like to invite you most cordially to our International Training Seminar Biomass Heating – Market development and technologieswhich will take place on 9 - 12 September 2013 in Linz/Austria.
What will the training seminar offer?
· 3 days packed with know-how on the technologies, the economics and the marketing of biomass heating
· Practical hands-on information from people who have done it: learn from the best in biomass heating!
· A lively mix of presentations, technical site-visits and interactive learning in an international group
· A focus on small- and mid-scale projects fuelled by wood pellets and wood chips

Target group: representatives of businesses, public bodies, institutions, NGOs etc. interested in developing local/regional biomass heating markets.
The seminar is especially meant for participants from countries where the market for automatic biomass heating is in an early stage.

Language: The training seminar will be held in English
Fees: 880 Euro (including 10 % VAT), 580 Euro (including 10 % VAT) for public administrations & energy agencies. These fees include the training sessions, seminar documentation, the site-visits, coffee breaks/meals.
